Mindful Monday

The Monday of every month starting in February 2020 will be a full days session starting at 9:30 am with Meditation, Medication and Me a short course discussing and practicing different types of meditation. As well as an open session for potential new members and a quite session filled with mindful activities.

1st Monday of the month 9:30 am till 4 pm

In our second year we run a coping skills course and but taking the positives and negatives of the course we have chosen to use the first Monday of every month to extend the course.

This year we are going to focus on meditation practices and mindfulness and how to incorporate these skills into daily life. As well as provide a space for Mindful activities.

The day will be broken in to 3 section a AM session, a lunch time session and a PM Session.

The AM Session

During the AM session we will discuss and practice different forms of meditation. Their will be a Q & A session as well as body scans. Handouts and practicals will be given during each session.

This session will run from 9:30 am to 12 pm

The Lunch Time Session

During the Lunch time session we encourage potential new members and outside agencies to visit us and find out more about us and what we do.

This session will run from 12 pm to 2 pm

The Afternoon Session

This will be a semi quite session with mindful colouring and other activities and will end with a guided meditation or body scan

This session will run from 1 pm to 4 pm

The session will include a body scan and a discussion and practical on a different form of mediation. The session will end at 12 pm.

between 12 pm and 1 pm we will have an open session for potential new group members or staff from external agencies to come and ask questions.

From 1 pm to 4 pm will be a mindful colouring session for those that want.
