For June 2019 and hopefully beyond Trowbridge Service Users Group will be in the Hub from 12:30pm till 2:30pm every Thursday.

During this Session you can drop in and ask questions about Trowbridge Users Group unlike the main session which are often busy filled with conversations and activities or our coping skills course these sessions will be dedicated to providing Friendship and support and encouragement to come along to our main sessions at Tesco Extra in the Community Room.

We are happy to announce that group members will also be there for chats and information and we have access to the internet so can help research information or help you set up emails etc and of course we will have tea and coffee and maybe some baked goods.

But as with the ethos of Trowbridge Service Users Group it will become what those with mental illness require, who knows it could become the primer pod cast station informing the world on living with mental health issues or just a touch point to reduce loneliness or a meeting place for coffee in town while you can have a friendly chat while you wait for friends. The opportunities are endless.

So, what is the Community Hub?

Trowbridge Community Area Future (TCAF) have co-ordinated this dynamic project which will ensure the Trowbridge community have direct access to statutory, community, voluntary and charitable groups in Wiltshire. their vision is to create a space where the public can engage with all the members of the Hub, contribute to their community and neighbourhoods, gain advice, share information, a signpost to other organisations, promote and advertise events, recruit volunteers and engage in activities and services.

So where is the Community Hub?

It’s in the Shires and you probably not even noticed it in that strange part of the Shires most people miss. You know the one near the Museum (yes there is one in the Shires and a good one at that yes you did go their while at school but ….), near Waterstones Book shop Ok yes most shop on Amazon so you do miss it and to be honest last time I was in their I had a voucher, (must remember to support high street more), OK it near Holland and Barret  again not somewhere most of us go this may help theirs a game shop CEXT and a very pretty jewellery store and a phone shop. If you come into shire where the Gates and Photobooth are we are up on left.
