Trowbridge Service Users Group will once again be at Celebrating Trowbridge at the Town Hall. This will be our second year and again we will be there to explain what we do and why we do it.
Our display will contain some of the art we have created along the way as well as leaflets containing information on what we do and how to get involved. As well as the Banner created, with Nicola Davis from https://www.nicoladaviscrafts.co.uk/ one of Trowbridge’s prominent artists (follow the link for more info https://trowbridgeusersgroup.co.uk/2022/04/23/silk-painting-to-celebrate-trowbridge/ ).
Trowbridge Service Users Group is a mental health support service, run for and by those living with mental illness who no longer have access to support for Mental health services. And to provide this service we work closely with service providers and fundraisers to achieve our Free Service.
We have worked closely with Trowbridge Future and Trowbridge Town Hall, who thankfully have helped us gain funding and locations to provide our service through their support.
Trowbridge Future has provided us with space to provide a drop-in and a workshop for mindfulness and meditation, While the Trowbridge Town Hall helps us with funding for art supplies a space to work out of, and storage space for equipment.

Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Service Trowbridge
Trowbridge Service User Group is open to anyone with mental ill health living in and around Trowbridge Wiltshire. The Group is run by and for service users and is self-referral and not time-limited.
Back in February 2018, the Trowbridge Service Users Group was started in the Community Room at Tesco Extra Trowbridge, we began with a big idea and no money. The idea was to provide a safe space that did not work or therapy-focused, but social somewhere a community of support could be built.
