Trowbridge Service Users’ Group: A Unique Space for Support, Creativity, and Friendship

Looking for a friendly place to connect, relax, and be yourself? 💛 Trowbridge Service Users’ Group offers a safe, supportive space with creative activities, drop-ins, and plenty of friendly faces. No pressure to take part — just come for a cuppa and good company. The Cabin, Seymour Rd, Trowbridge Free & self-referral

Trowbridge Service Users’ Group offers a welcoming, supportive environment for people living with mental ill health, combining friendship, understanding, and creative activities to help members live the best life possible.

Creative activities are well known for their positive impact on mental health. Taking part in arts and crafts can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while encouraging relaxation, joy, and self-expression. Activities such as painting, writing, or working with clay can help people enter a “flow” state, releasing feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin. This can improve self-esteem, boost mood, and provide a safe way to express emotions.

During February, our arts and crafts sessions will focus on building fairy houses using air-dry clay. These sessions are fun, relaxed, and friendly, and are completely free with self-referral welcome. No experience is needed—just come along and enjoy yourself.

We provide several activity-based sessions each week, but there is no pressure to take part. Many of our members simply enjoy coming along for the company, a chat, and a sense of belonging.

It’s important to note that Trowbridge Service Users’ Group is not a therapy service. We are a support service, offering understanding, connection, and opportunities that help people improve their quality of life.

Members also benefit from a private Facebook page and WhatsApp group, giving people a way to stay in touch, arrange social get-togethers, and access extra support during difficult times.
