Trowbridge Service Users Group: Mental Health Peer Support Summer Schedule 2026

Trowbridge Service Users Group: Mental Health Peer Support Summer Schedule 2026

As we move out of the winter months and into spring, the Trowbridge Service Users Group is preparing for a new seasonal schedule. Our winter timetable runs until 31st March 2026, and from 1st April 2026 we’ll begin our Summer Schedule with some familiar sessions and an exciting new addition.

Our group continues to focus on peer support, connection, and community, offering a safe space where people can come together, reduce isolation, and support each other’s wellbeing.

A New Season, A Fresh Schedule

While many of our regular activities will remain the same, we’re introducing a new Tuesday evening social session designed to give people more opportunities to connect in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Monday – Meditation, Coffee & Chats

Our Monday meditation session remains unchanged.

  • Doors open: 9:30am
  • Meditation: 10:00am – 11:00am
  • Coffee and chats: 11:00am – 12:00pm

This session offers a calm start to the week, with time afterwards to relax, talk, and connect over a cup of tea or coffee.

NEW: Tuesday Evening Chill & Chat

From April, our Tuesday drop-in will be replaced with a new evening social session.

  • Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm (until 8pm if busy)

This will be a relaxed space where members can unwind together with:

  • Friendly chats
  • Games
  • Movies
  • Music
  • A welcoming social atmosphere

The aim is simple: a place to connect, relax, and feel less alone.

Thursday – Arts & Crafts

Our popular Arts & Crafts session continues as usual.

  • Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm (often until 2:00pm if busy)

Whether you’re creative or just want to try something new, this session offers a chance to enjoy art in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Gardening Activities

Our gardening team will also be restarting. Sessions will be organised by the group itself, and you’ll likely see members pottering around and bringing green spaces to life again soon.

Member Socials

Members also stay connected through informal get-togethers arranged via the Members’ WhatsApp group, helping friendships continue outside the regular sessions.

What Our Group Is About

The Trowbridge Service Users Group exists to build connection, understanding, and community.

We aim to:

  • Provide a safe and welcoming space
  • Reduce loneliness and isolation
  • Offer peer support and shared understanding
  • Share tea, coffee, conversation and activities
  • Treat everyone with dignity and respect

This is a community space, not a service, therapy group, or clinical support setting.

Our Purpose

As a community-based, peer-led organisation, our goals are to:

  • Reduce isolation and loneliness
  • Promote mental wellbeing
  • Provide a safe and inclusive community space
  • Encourage peer connection and understanding

Peer support can make a powerful difference, simply by bringing people together who understand each other’s experiences.

Our Shared Values

To keep the space safe and supportive for everyone, we ask all members and volunteers to follow a few simple principles:

  • Be kind and respectful
  • Avoid judgement
  • Respect different experiences
  • Keep personal information private
  • Maintain healthy boundaries
  • Speak up if something doesn’t feel right

This is a shared space, and we all play a part in protecting it.

The Trowbridge Service Users Group continues to grow as a community where people can connect, share experiences, and support each other in a friendly, informal environment.

With the new Tuesday evening session and the return of gardening activities, we’re looking forward to a positive and welcoming summer season starting 1st April 2026.

If you’re looking for connection, conversation, and community, you’ll always find a warm welcome here. ☕🌱
