At Trowbridge Service Users Group, we’ve always prided ourselves on being there for our peers—rain or shine, week in and week out. Over the years, we’ve stayed open through tough times, only ever closing for Christmas (and even then, still arranging get-togethers). That’s because we know how important consistency and connection are for mental wellbeing.
But this year, we’re doing something a little different—and necessary.
We’re Taking a Well-Deserved Break!
🏆 Why Now?
This past year has been incredible.
We were honoured to win a Creative Lives Award in 2024 (read more here), and we’ve just been nominated again for the BBC Make a Difference Awards 2025! (details here).
With all this growth, attention, and extra responsibility, we’ve realised something important:
👉 You can’t help others unless you’re willing to take care of yourself, too.
That’s why—for the first time—we’re taking a short summer break to recharge.
📅 Holiday Closure Dates:
🛑 Closed from: Monday, 28th July 2025
✅ Reopening: Monday, 4th August 2025 at 5PM for our usual Evening Social and Meditation Monday session
💬 Still Here for You
While the doors may be closed for a couple of weeks, our peer connections are not. You’ll still have access to:
- Our Private WhatsApp Group
- Our Private Facebook Community
- Social drop-ins or check-ins, informally arranged
So don’t worry—you’re not alone.
❤️ A Community That Cares
We are proud to be a free, peer-led mental health support group that brings people together from across the Trowbridge area. Whether you’re new to the group or a regular, thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to rest, recovery, and returning stronger—see you on August 4th at 5PM! 🌟
