TROWBRIDGE, UK – June 14, 2024 – The Trowbridge Service Users Group is delighted to announce the successful launch of our new Community Garden Project with the first planting day taking place today. This initiative, generously funded by Selwood Housing, aims to enhance the beauty of our community spaces and provide fresh vegtables and herbs to the Trowbridge Future community fridges.
The Community Garden Project will be a continuous effort involving participants in all sessions, with special event days like today’s planting day. In addition to growing fruits and herbs, the project includes a variety of creative and therapeutic activities. Participants will engage in flower-based art projects and attend special sessions on herbal tea making, preparing herbs for healing purposes, and crafting candles, creams, skin masks, and bath bombs infused with beneficial herbs.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for residents in and around Trowbridge. The Trowbridge Service Users Group offers free, open, and self-referral support services to individuals living with mental illness in the community.
