She came to me, I hoped for love
I felt safe in her arms
The way she smiled
The way she spoke
I fell for all her charms
But slowly things began to change
The change not for the good
Nothing was her
Twas always me
I felt misunderstood
She’d isolate my point of view
Then blame it on my brain
“You just can’t have
A point of view
Remember you’re insane”
I had to soak up all the wrongs
Then never speak my mind
Whilst she was free
To laugh at me
Her nastiness unkind
I broke away and let her go
But know she’s still around
She bides her time
Quite patiently
The wolf that likes to hound

Enjoyed reading through this, very good stuff, thanks. “The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing.” by Archilocus.
