“Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.”
Trowbridge Service Users’ Group (TSUG) is a welcoming, community‑based mental health support and friendship group based in Trowbridge. We exist to help people living with mental illness feel less isolated, more connected, and supported to live the best life possible.
A Safe, Friendly Space
TSUG meets at The Cabin, Seymour Road, Trowbridge, BA14 8LX. From the moment you arrive, you’ll find a relaxed, non‑judgemental environment where you can simply be yourself. There is no pressure to talk, share, or take part in activities—many of our members come along just to enjoy a cup of coffee and good company.
Importantly, Trowbridge Service Users’ Group is not a therapy service. We are a support service. Our focus is on friendship, peer support, understanding, and helping one another navigate everyday life with mental illness.
Activities – Join In or Just Be
We offer several activity‑based sessions throughout the week. You are always welcome to join in, but participation is entirely optional.
Weekly Sessions
- Monday Morning Drop‑In – 11:00am to 1:00pm
(Continues after meditation) After meditation, we stay on for coffee, conversation, and a relaxed social catch‑up. - Tuesday Quiet Drop‑In – 10:00am to 12:00pm
Our quieter session, ideal if you find busy environments overwhelming. A perfect time to pop in, have a coffee, and learn more about what we offer. - Thursday Arts and Crafts – 10:00am to 2:00pm
A creative, friendly session where members can explore arts and crafts at their own pace, or simply sit and chat.
Staying Connected Beyond Sessions
Support doesn’t stop when the session ends. TSUG offers members:
- A private Facebook page
- A WhatsApp group
These allow members to keep in touch, arrange social get‑togethers, and offer each other extra support during difficult times.
